Therapy with me can be many things.

A conversation about what is, what was and who you might want to become.
A space for listening.
A space to safely share your thoughts and feelings.
A space for lamenting the effects of ongoing injustices such as sexism, racism, global capitalism, climate catastrophe.
A creative process, where we try to imagine a new future and detoxify the past.

Therapy requires commitment.
There will be tears.
There will be words.
There will be silence.
And sometimes it will be boring.
And yes, we can also have a laugh.

Psychotherapy is a listening cure. We heal when we are being heard in a benign environment in relation to a sympathetic other. Even though some wounds will never heal, putting words to what hurts can give solace and open up a path to resistance and change.
